Welcome to SportsTourer.org. A site for Sports Touring Motorcycles.

Welcome to SportsTourer.org a place where users can air their views about all aspects of owning and using a Sports Touring motorcycle.

The concept: The decision to create this web site stems from the need to have a central place where all European SportsTourer type content from other web sites can be found. There are many very good sites about. So instead of re-inventing the wheel my hope would be to link all these sites for specific as well as general topics and content. We intend to open this site up with interesting content at the same time. Any content you wish to submit please let me know on the Admin forum Forum Admin Questions.. A forum area has been created for discussions and chitchat. Hopefully in the future arrange some continental runs, as I am sure you will enjoy them.

So in essence, things to find here:
  • All you touring needs via links and forums.
  • For Sale and Wanted forums.
  • An Inventory of things to take.
  • Previous tours and write-ups with SportTourer.org.
  • FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).
  • Organized tours.

  • We are in the process of building the site. Please read the FAQ. Please help by donating Web links.

Contact: use the Forum Admin Questions.

The recently released official report: "In depth study of Motorcycle Accidents" states clearly that only 3.5% of crashes involved 'speeding' (exceeding the speed limit). Of those only 62% involved the motorcyclist speeding, so only 2.2% of motorcyclists were speeding when they crashed.

    Ultraseal
is a non-toxic water-based gel inserted into the tyre through the tyre
valve. The inner surface of the tyre and rim become coated with a layer
of Ultraseal, stopping tyre porosity and reducing pressure loss.
Punctures within the tyre tread area up to 6 mm are sealed as they
happen, creating a permanent repair for the life of the tyre - tested
at speeds exceeding 150 mph. Ultraseal can pay for itself with
increased tyre life and mpg, with the bonus of a constant protection
    against punctures.

    The
quality and efficiency of Ultraseal is proven again and again in the
many test reports and testimonials. Ultraseal does not mask unsafe
casing damage, does not void tyre manufacturers' warranty, does not
rust or corrode wheel rims and requires no special handling at tyre
    replacement.

Sometime in 2003. We are considering renting a friend's apartment in Alicante said our neighbour, Mandy. Would you like to join us. Oh and the boys can go on their bikes because Andy wants to ride up through Spain and France as you did in 2001. Andy later admitted to me that this was a ploy to get a week away on the bike but still keep the missus happy with the sun, sea and sangria - cunning move, Andy. With no further prompting I started planning the route, similar to previous excursions, but with a few variations. Also, having taken Spanish lessons this year I can order food now as well as beer!
